      Heidi has been an award winning artist and animal lover since childhood. Her soft sculpture designing began with a furry little bunny,she stitched by hand, for her daughter's third birthday,in 1987. The way her daughter's face lit up inspired Heidi to learn all aspects of sewing and the proper conformation of many animals.
       Bears and dog replicas are Heidi's specialty. Heidi says "It's a never ending creative challenge and fun adventure that brings comfort and smiles along the way."
       Heidi designs plush prototypes for many major toy manufacturing companies, and invented the popular line of small plush animals, refrigerator magnets, named Magneatoes sold worldwide exclusively by Mary Meyer Toy Corp. of Vermont.


Heidi's Plush Animal Replicas were recently featured on the NBC Today Show. Her first Illustrated Children's Book — "The Wish" — won the DOVE organization's highest rating and has just won the Mom's Choice Award in 2010.
